More than a week after the tragedy In Tucson that left six people dead and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords fighting for her life, questions as to how the events might affect the political climate are still looming.
One issue is whether pleas for greater civility in political discourse across the nation will be heeded.
Another is how the shooting will affect the atmosphere on Capitol Hill itself.
