O2 to announce funding winners

Up to ten €50,000 funding packages for Irish startups will be decided next week by O2 Ireland under its digital investment programme, Wayra.

Up to ten €50,000 funding packages for Irish startups will be decided next week by O2 Ireland under its digital investment programme, Wayra.

The operator, which has debts of almost €60 billion and recently announced Irish layoffs, has joined a growing list of large companies that see startup investment as a crucial lifeline to staying in touch with new products and services.
