O2 Ireland records 14% fall in revenues

O2 Ireland has recorded a 14 per cent fall in revenues and a 25 per cent fall in operating cash flow for the first nine months of 2011, according to results filed today by the operator’s parent company, Telefonica.

O2 Ireland has recorded a 14 per cent fall in revenues and a 25 per cent fall in operating cash flow for the first nine months of 2011, according to results filed today by the operator’s parent company, Telefonica.

The operator recorded revenues of €551 million for the first nine months of 2011, a year-on-year decline of 14 per cent. Meanwhile, operating cash flow for the same period was €120 million, a 24.7 per cent fall compared to 2010.
