Nurses to vote for industrial action over Emergency Department overcrowding
Union will ballot members if independent safety reviews of each unit are not carried out
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) has warned it will ballot nurses for industrial action if ‘significant progress’ is not made on overcrowding and other critical areas.
Nurses working in emergency departments across the country will be balloted in the first week of November if trolley crisis continues.
