The number of corporate insolvencies in the first nine months of the year fell by 21 per cent to 742, new figures show.
The data, released by Deloitte, shows that creditors’ voluntary liquidations accounted for 67 per cent of insolvencies compared to 66 per cent in the same period last year.
Receiverships accounted for 26 per cent of the total while there were 34 court liquidator appointments, down from 48 a year earlier.
