NTR sells US recycling unit for net $129 mln

Renewable energy group NTR plc has closed the sale of Greenstar, its US recycling business, to WM Recycle America for a gross consideration of $180 million.

Renewable energy group NTR plc has closed the sale of Greenstar, its US recycling business, to WM Recycle America for a gross consideration of $180 million.

After purchase price reduction for certain costs, third party debt and other deductions, NTR will get an initial net receipt of $129 million (€95 million).

Up to an additional $40 million is payable by 2018, should Greenstar satisfy agreed performance criteria.
