UPDATE: The National Treasury Management Agency has sold its target amount of €500 million of three-month treasury bills today at a yield of 0.7 per cent.

The National Treasury Management Agency has sold its target amount of €500 million of three-month treasury bills today at a yield of 0.7 per cent.

The total bids received amounted to €1.8 billion which was 3.6 times the amount on offer. The Treasury Bills will mature on 21 st January 2013.

This is the third sale of short term debt completed by the NTMA in recent months. A sale in September of €500 million surprised analysts at the time...
