The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) has today raised €5.233 billion in what marks a return to the bond markets for Ireland.
The agency sold €3.889 billion of 5 year bonds at a yield of 5.9 per cent and €1.344 billion of eight year bonds at a yield of 6.1 per cent. It also raised €1.04 billion through a bond switch, which allowed holders of existing bonds due to mature in 2013 and 2014 respectively...
