NPRF to transfer €5 billion to new state fund

The National Pension Reserve Fund (NPRF) is understood to have €5 billion in liquid assets available to be transferred into the new Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, *The Sunday Business Post* has learned.

Last week the NPRF announced it has begun selling off its portfolio to raise cash for the government's stimulus package. The €6.8 billion stimulus was announced last June in a bid to foster economic growth and boost employment.
