Fine Gael finance spokesman Michael Noonan has rejected suggestions that the intervention of the IMF binds the party to voting the budget through the Dáil.

Fine Gael finance spokesman Michael Noonan has rejected suggestions that the intervention of the IMF binds the party to voting the budget through the Dáil.

Noonan said that Fine Gael had already agreed with the €6billion adjustment and reducing the deficit next year to 10 per cent. ‘‘We agreed the targets but not the ways and means of doing this,” he said.
