Michael Noonan, the Minister for Finance, has put off a meeting with pension industry representatives to discuss the government’s controversial levy on private pensions until after the publication of the Finance Bill this week.

Noonan was provisionally scheduled to meet representatives of the Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF) this week to discuss the proposal.
