I am glad to see your Any Other Business editor Pat Leahy take issue with the use of the word 'respect' in The Irish Times. The word has been flogged to death in the gossip column, Teacher's Pet. Describing the Minister of Education as a ‘class act' is the latest phrase that appears doomed to a similar fate.
