No Nonsense helps lift FBD premiums

UPDATE: FBD Insurance said its gross premiums in the year to date were marginally ahead of the previous year and that its pretax profit was in line with market expectations.

FBD Insurance said its gross premiums in the year to date were marginally ahead of the previous year and that its pretax profit was in line with market expectations.

In an interim trading update it said Irish domestic demand had stabilised but was unlikely to show significant return to growth in the short term.

It noted that its large claims experience was ahead of the historic norm but was likely to revert to the norm...
