No mini-budget in 2012, says Noonan

There will be no package of additional budgetary measures in 2012, with economic growth expected to improve in the second half of the year, according to Finance Minister Michael Noonan.

There will be no package of additional budgetary measures in 2012, with economic growth expected to improve in the second half of the year, according to Finance Minister Michael Noonan.

Speaking in the Dail, Noonan said economic growth had been "a little disappointing" so far.

However he added: "You can forget about mini-budgets at this stage".
