Regional newspaper groups have adopted a wait-and-see approach towards the Leinster Leader Group, which was put on the market last week for more than €100 million.

The group stated that it decided to put itself up for sale after a number of approaches to buy it over recent weeks.

But it is understood that no bids have yet been received for the group, despite reports to the contrary. Industry sources believe that any potential purchasers...
