Junior minister at the Department of Finance Brian Hayes said that the government isn’t putting an “arbitrary” deadline on reaching an accord with its European partners on easing Ireland’s legacy banking debt.
Hayes said in an interview today that the achievement of a deal by the end of October is the government’s “stated ambition”, Bloomberg reported.
