Nissan turns over a new Leaf

The Nissan Leaf, an all-electric family car, will go on sale in Ireland next February.

The Nissan Leaf, an all-electric family car, will go on sale in Ireland next February.

Its retail price, after the €5,000 government incentive, will be €29,995, complete with battery. While this may seem expensive, it is estimated that average running costs will be less then €20 per month. This is roughly 80 per cent less than the monthly cost of running a conventional car of the same size.
