A Nigerian criminal who was deported from Ireland in 2003 has claimed that he was tortured by the Garda Síochána before being sent back to Britain.

A Nigerian criminal who was deported from Ireland in 2003 has claimed that he was tortured by the Garda Síochána before being sent back to Britain.

The claim comes in High Court proceedings issued in Nigeria by Andre John-Salakov, also known as Andre Salakov, who is claiming €117 million in damages against six defendants.
