NI tech firm records €1m profit

Consilium Technologies, one of the oldest technology firms in the North, made a pre-tax profit of almost stg£700,000 (€1 million) last year as sales rose 25 per cent.

Consilium Technologies, one of the oldest technology firms in the North, made a pre-tax profit of almost stg£700,000 (€1 million) last year as sales rose 25 per cent.

The company, which was founded in 1985 as Task Software, had turnover of stg£6.9 million last year, up from stg£5.5 million in 2004.

The profit last year was a turnaround from 2004 when Consilium made a pre-tax loss of almost stg£285,000.
