Next budget could ease up on austerity, says Noonan

UPDATE: Finance minister Minister Michael Noonan says the government has emerging budget options that include easing up on austerity.

Finance minister Minister Michael Noonan says the government has emerging budget options that include easing up on austerity.

He told reporters in Dublin today that the options could include further investment. Noonan said that he is sending the first memo to colleagues today setting budget parameters.
