House prices down again.

* **House prices** fell 2.2 per cent in February from January, according to the latest release from the Central Statistics Office.

* Total credit to private households in Ireland for **house purchases** was down 2.4 per cent at the end of December, following a quarterly decline of 0.5 per cent, according to the latest figures from the Central Bank.

* The fallout from the Mahon tribunal report continues as **Bertie Ahern** looks to jump from Fianna Fail before he is pushed.
