Modern Plant sees its turnover fall

Industrial and engineering equipment distributor Modern Plant saw its turnover drop by 15 per cent last year, but managed to maintain its profitability after cutting costs.

New accounts for the company reveal that turnover fell to €29.1 million in the year ending March 31, 2008. The company recorded a €3.2 million profit for the year, down slightly from the €3.8 million recorded the previous year. It now has €9.5 million...
