Gerard Keenan has been appointed chief executive of the Irish Chamber Orchestra following an international search. A former professional musician, Keenan was formerly orchestra manager and has been acting chief executive for the past ten months. He has previously worked with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, the Irish Chamber Orchestra and the National Chamber Choir.
