Diageo helps jobless youths

Diageo Ireland has begun a Learning for Life initiative with the aim of providing employment opportunities for young people who live near its corporate home area of Dublin 8.

A group 14 young people from the Liberties area - who had been unemployed - have completed a training programme at the Guinness Storehouse and will begin work experience with Diageo partners such as the Merrion, Jurys Inn and other businesses.
