New website to match skills with job demands

A new job-matching website is being set up to give employers names of suitable unemployed people in their area.

It will allow them to find a person living locally who has fluent French, for example, or has a valid truck driver’s licence.

The Department of Social Protection is issuing a tender for the new website, which is due to be up and running by the end of the year.
