The West Cork Hotel in Skibbereen has completed the first phase of a €2million refurbishment project begun in November 2008.

The West Cork Hotel in Skibbereen has completed the first phase of a €2million refurbishment project begun in November 2008.

Investment in the hotel, under current owners Tim and Marion Looney, will increase accommodation from 35 to 45 bedrooms when it is completed in late 2010.

Renovations carried out over the past 12 months have included the re-fit and extension of the hotel’s restaurant, Kennedy’s, as well as the relocation and extension of its reception area, the re-fit...
