APC gets €17m in new funding
Science Foundation Ireland has launched phase two of the Alimentary Pharmabiotic Centre (APC), a gastrointestinal health research facility based in Cork. Launched in 2003, at a cost of €16.5 million, the APC is one of nine SFI-funded centres of science, engineering and technology in Ireland.
Valued at €17 million, this latest round of government funding will support its research programme for a further five years.
