Dublin firm raises funding of €500,000

Dublin start-up Sensormind has secured seed investment of €500,000 in a funding round involving Enterprise Ireland and two private investors.

Established in October 2008, Sensormind has developed a number of wireless products to support independent living among the elderly. These include an automated remote monitoring and alert device, and a system for helping care organisations to manage home visits effectively.
