Waste collection operator, The City Bin Co, has invested €1. 5 million in six new vehicles for its Dublin fleet. The Galway company has 30,000 customers in Dublin, having launched waste collection services in the capital a year ago. Chief executive Gene Browne said it had doubled staff numbers, from 55 to 110 in the past year, despite an arson attack that destroyed six bin trucks at a Dublin depot in November 2011.
