Fort Technologies, an Irish-owned developer of easy-to-use cloud management software for businesses, has been acquired by US firm Egenera.

Fort, based in Citywest, Co Dublin since 2008, will be integrated into Egenera's Cloud Products Group and its ceo, Gerry Murray, will head up Egenera's EMEA operations.
