€25m win for Energia

Alan Mulcahy, Energia's business markets manager: the deal provides for the supply of 180 gigawatt hours of electricity a year.

Electricity supplier Energia has agreed a public sector deal worth €25 million to supply 180 gigawatt hours of electricity per year to central government offices and non-commercial public bodies around the country.

The agreement covers a number of government departments, third-level institutions and public sector bodies, such as Fáilte Ireland, the Road Safety Authority, Shannon Development, the Revenue Commissioners and the Office of Public Works.
