New homes house hunters in the Dublin 18 area would be forgiven for doing a double-take this weekend as Sherry FitzGerald launches two new developments in Stepaside.

The first is a new phase of 23 three- and four-bedroom homes at Belmont, which, when it started in 2013, was one of the first new housing projects to be built in Ireland in years, following the recession.
