The total number of vacant commercial units in Ireland hit 11.4 per cent in the first quarter of 2013, according to a report by GeoDirectory and DKM Economic Consultants.

A total of 25,432 commercial units were recorded as vacant in the first GeoView Quarterly Report, accurate as of January 2013, out of a total number of 223,451 commercial units nationally.
