It's funny how quickly we become accustomed to a car's design. When the Opel Insignia was launched in 2008 it represented a quantum leap in virtually all areas over the Vectra it replaced. Not only that, but here was a humdrum family saloon from Opel that looked desirable. Its lines were lifted straight from a much admired concept car and few alternatives on the market could match it.
