With more people vying for fewer jobs, a Wexford based start-up has launched a video service to help employers sort through applications and shortlist suitable candidates.

Enniscorthy firm Sonru maintains the online system, which allows employers to interview candidates remotely, could cut recruitment cost by up to 70 per cent.

Companies can use the system to carry out preliminary interviews before short listing candidates for face-to-face follow ups.
