Goldman Sachs has parachuted in a new management team at the Whitfield Clinic in Waterford.

Goldman Sachs, the global investment bank, has parachuted in a new management team at the Whitfield Clinic in Waterford, after concluding a deal to acquire the €60 million of debt attached to the private hospital.

A former executive from Wellington Hospital in London has been dispatched to Waterford by Goldman Sachs to carry out a restructuring of the operation. When completed, the merchant bank intends to seek a buyer.
