The Living City Initiative scheme has been extended to include landlords in a welcome budget move

Investors will be allowed to avail of the Living City Initiative (LCI) tax reliefs following changes in Budget 2017, which will benefit investors. They will also see reductions in their USC income tax as well an increase from 75 per cent to 80 per cent in the amount of mortgage interest they can offset against rental income.
