A new social networking site which aims to be the ‘YouTube for intellectuals’ has been launched by an Irish graduate of Trinity College.

A new social networking site which aims to be the ‘YouTube for intellectuals’ has been launched by an Irish graduate of Trinity College.

BigThink.com, which is backed by the founder of Paypal and Facebook directors, creates interviews with world leaders and intellectuals and allows members of the public to respond, either through video or text. Irish luminaries to have been interviewed so far include Gerry Adams and Mary Robinson.
