Dell has separated its Limerick manufacturing operations, which are under review amid fears of large-scale job losses, into a new corporate structure.

The computer firm has incorporated a new company, Dell Products Manufacturing, as part of a ‘‘reorganisation of the Dell group’’, which involved the transfer of ‘‘the manufacturing services and related employees’’. It is the first time the company has singled out its Limerick operation, which traditionally has been included in a wider group...
