New deal could replace Croke Park before 2014 - Varadkar

If a better Croke Park deal can be re-negotiated with trade unions before 2014 then it should be brought forward, Transport Minister Leo Varadkar has said.

If a better Croke Park deal can be re-negotiated with trade unions before 2014 then it should be brought forward, Transport Minister Leo Varadkar has said.

"If we can get a better agreement, than the one we have now, then I don’t see any reason why it couldn’t come into force before the current agreement expires,” he told Newstalk’s Lunchtime programme.
