Bill Prasifka, the newly-appointed chairman of the Competition Authority, has targeted pubs, chemists and other retail sectors as areas of interest for the competition watchdog, writes Business Correspondent Ed Micheau.

Prasifka said any area of business that had government-imposed restrictions would merit scrutiny, pointing to the successful campaign to repeal the Groceries Order.
