New car sales up 6% in May

New car sales have continued to grow in 2014, with May seeing a 6 per cent increase on last year, according to the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI)

New car sales have continued to grow in 2014, with May seeing a 6 per cent increase on last year, according to the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI).

So far this year, more than 64,000 cars have been sold, an increase of 12,481 on 2013.
