New car sales are up 24 per cent for the first half of 2014, new figures have shown.

The figures released today by Motorcheck.ie showed that 2014 has delivered the highest new car sales in six years with almost 66,000 units sold to the end of June this year.
Sales could top 90,000 units by the end of the year, Motorcheck said.
