A new campaign to encourage the purchase of electric cars will provide a range of incentives for companies and individuals to switch to electric models.

Launched yesterday by Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney, the Drive4Zero initiative, which is being piloted in Cork, is expected to double the number of e-cars in the region within six months.
