The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) has launched a public consultation document entitled ‘A Draft Code Of Fairness, Objectivity and Impartiality in News and Current Affairs’.

The code - available to review [here](http://www.bai.ie/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/201201_FairnessObjImpart-ConsulDoc-ENGLISH-vFinal_PK.pdf) will aim to introduce new ethical standards among broadcast journalists, editors and producers, especially those presenting news and current affairs programmes.
