New Ballsbridge vault to offer underground security for €299 a year

With burglaries on the rise and banks no longer willing to store valuables, one security company is looking to cash-in.

Sentinel Vaults will today open what it claims is Ireland’s first private security vault in a converted former AIB Bank building. Customers will be able to leave items in the underground storage facility in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 in different sized boxes that start from €299 a year, the company said.
