Cult, a new arts, culture and style magazine, has hit the shelves at a time when the magazine sector is struggling.

Editor, art director and publisher Geoff McGrath set up Cult last year to satisfy an urge to produce a magazine covering topics that were often neglected by other publications. "I always wanted to produce a magazine. It wasn't a very conscious decision to start a business," he said.
