New AIB team to be appointed by end of month

Industry Correspondent The Financial Regulator has received the names of a new executive team for AIB, proposed by its executive chairman David Hodgkinson.

It is understood that interviews for the senior management positions were held in recent weeks, and a shortlist of candidates submitted to the Regulator for approval recently.

Hodgkinson interviewed a series of people for the positions, and it is expected these will be approved and appointed by the end of this month.
