Netflix agrees programming deal with Dreamworks

Subscription video-streaming service Netflix has agreed to a multi-year deal with DreamWorks Animation to obtain original programming to lure subscribers.

Subscription video-streaming service Netflix has agreed to a multi-year deal with DreamWorks Animation to obtain original programming to lure subscribers.

It is the largest contract for original content in the history of Netflix and makes it the “home of new original series from the award-winning creators of global box-office hits,” including the “Shrek,” “Madagascar,” “Kung Fu Panda” and “How to Train Your Dragon” franchises, the California-based company said in a statement today....
