Nearly €1 billion invested in Irish commercial property in Q1

The investment market has started 2014 strongly, with €934 million transacted across the country for direct asset sales in the first three months of the year.

The investment market has started 2014 strongly, with €934 million transacted across the country for direct asset sales in the first three months of the year, according to the latest quarterly investment report from Jones Lang LaSalle.

There have been €287 million worth of loan sales in addition to €934 million, pushing total volumes for Q1 to about €1.22 billion.

Retail performed strongly this quarter with €317 million transacted, followed by offices at €265 million.
